The previous owner of the home smoked in the house. She was the original owner so you can image the smell. It was so strong that when you left the house you smelled of smoke. In some rooms you can see stains on the walls. With a baby on the way we didn't want to bring her home to such a smelly house. So first thing was to get all the items that were holding onto the smoke smell. The carpet was first to go.

Although the smell didn't go away totally it was a huge improvement.
